My wife and I own several condos at Glacier Lodge & Suites, a luxurious 127-unit condo-hotel located in Whistler's Upper Village. At less than 250 feet from the base of the main Wizard Express Ski Lift, Glacier Lodge & Suites is in the perfect location for your Whistler holiday. You will be impressed with our ski-in/ski-out location and at the same time pleased to find that the hotel is right next door to the ski school, hiking and biking trails and a multitude of restaurants and shops. Going to a conference at the Chateau Whistler? You can't get closer. Glacier Lodge is right next door to the Chateau Whistler. Guests arriving by airline will be pleased to hear that the three major airporter shuttles drop off and pick up right in front of our hotel. Glacier Lodge is so close to everything that our guests have no need for a car once they arrive. |

On arrival, you will be greeted by our friendly 24-hour front desk staff who are always ready to provide you with information, concierge services and pool towels. Whether you need advice about restaurants, entertainment, activities, tranportation or map directions, our front desk agents are available around the clock in person and on the room phone to assist you and make sure you have a wonderful vacation. As an added touch, our house-keeping service arrives at your room each day to remove your trash and supply you with fresh towels, soaps, shampoos, tea and coffee. Our front desk even provides bell storage of luggage in case you want to maximize skiing time on check-in day and/or check-out day. |

Tour our building and you will be pleased to find a spectacular lobby, a ski valet service that is free to our guests, a huge indoor hottub, a large heated outdoor pool, guest laundry facilities, a bike storage room, indoor parking, an award-winning restaurant, a lounge, a fitness center equipped with Life Fitness commercial cardio equipment, an on-site massage and esthetics spa and even a high speed internet access terminal for people who want to stay in touch on their holidays. During the ski season, we have an on-site ski and snowboard rental shop that gives special discounts to our guests (www.affinityrentals.com). Our on-site spa also gives our guests discounts on massage and esthetics treatments (www.whistlerhealingspa.com). Need a room for a dinner, a meeting, a seminar or an exhibit? From May through October, our 1090 sq. ft. meeting room is available for groups, organizations and private parties of up to 80 people. |

Inside our air-conditioned condos, you will find gas fireplaces, stereo televisions with digital cablevision, free movie channels, CD stereo systems, phones with voice mail, modem jacks and direct dialing to outside lines and to guest services. Every kitchen is fully equipped with brand new appliances including stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and toaster. In our elegant main bathrooms, you will find a hairdryer, cosmetic mirror and granistone countertops. In our larger 2-bedroom condos, you will be able to relax in our luxurious whirlpool soaker bathtubs. |
Our condos are professionally managed complete with a toll-free reservation centre and friendly on-site front desk and guest services. These services run 24 hours a day to ensure you receive first class treatment when you book your stay and throughout your holiday.
Concerned about safety? In most privately-rented condos in Whistler, the same door key or combination code is re-cycled and used for every guest for an entire season. In our condos, every guest receives a unique magnetically-encoded key card that expires on check-out day so you can rest assured that former guests can't use old keys to gain unauthorized access to your room. For even more security, our front desk has safety deposit boxes for your valuables.
Coming to Whistler during June, July or August? In summer, Whistler has an average of 26 days where temperature exceeds 79 degrees F. Most condos in Whistler do not have air conditioning, however to ensure that our guests have a first class stay, my wife and I have spared no expense and have installed brand new top-of-the-line ductless split air conditioners in our condos. These units are the quietest on the market and should ensure that our guests can sleep comfortably even on a hot summer's night.
Coming to Whistler for just a few nights or for a conference? We have four hotel rooms that are ideal for people who plan to dine out for most of their stay.
My wife and I own several condos in the building and we have made special arrangements with our hotel management to offer a rate discount to owner-referred guests. Also, our management team can provide guests with discounts on multi-day ski passes (2 or more days) and our ski shop and our spa offer discounts on tune-ups, ski and snowboard rentals, ski equipment, massage and aesthetics services, and on Yoga and Pilates sessions.
